Dr Matthew Thomas BA MA MBBS MRCS FRCR.
I trained in Medicine at Cambridge and London. Initially I pursued a career in surgery obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2002 before changing direction towards Radiology. Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists followed in 2006 having trained at St George’s in London. I pursued a fellowship in Musculoskeletal radiology at Southampton where I have now practiced for 10 years. During this time I have participated in local reasearch into Osteoarthritis and Rheumatoid arthritis and lecture on the Sports and Exercise course at Southampton . I have lead the musculoskeletal training module and I am currently the MSK radiology lead in Southampton. My interests and focus are primarily in Musculoskeletal and Spinal imaging and intervention.
